These tools are designed to facilitate the sending of emails. When you add a template to subject lines, messages, signatures, or send from addresses, it becomes available to you to select as a pre-written option when sending emails to individuals or groups. For example, you may have a standard signature and send from address (the From: or reply-to address recipients see) that you use for your business contacts, but would like to use something else for emails sent to family members. You would simply add different templates to each category that would be appropriate for use in different communication settings.
You may have a standard message that you send to a sales team that you only need to make minor revisions to before you send it to the entire sales category in your business group. Just create the template, or make any adjustments you need to an existing template, and send it off to everybody in the appropriate group or category. |
